Yve (“we”, “our”, or “us”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have when using the Yve app.

Information We Collect
- Account information (e.g., user ID, basic profile details you provide)
- Content you share (e.g., posts, images, sketches, replies, and interactions)
- Usage & device data required to operate the service (e.g., app version, device type, basic diagnostics)
We aim to collect only what we need to run Yve and improve reliability.
User-Generated Content & Safety
Yve allows users to create and share user-generated content (UGC), including posts, images, sketches, replies, and interactions. We do not tolerate objectionable content or abusive users.
- No tolerance for objectionable content (e.g., harassment, hate, threats, sexual exploitation, illegal content, or spam).
- Reporting: You can report content or users from within the app.
- Blocking: You can block users to stop seeing or interacting with them.
- Enforcement: We may remove content, restrict features, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate our rules.

If you believe content is illegal or involves imminent harm, contact local authorities. You can also report it in-app so we can review it.
How We Use Information
- To provide and maintain Yve features (authentication, feeds, storage, and delivery)
- To improve performance, stability, and user experience
- To communicate important service-related updates (e.g., security or policy changes)
Photos, Camera, and Your Control
- Camera: used so you can take photos for posts (24h / 1-view). Photos are uploaded and shared only when you choose to post.
- Photo library access: used so you can pick a profile picture or select photos to upload as posts. Only the items you select are uploaded.
- Save to photo library: used only when you choose to save (download) a post / sketch reply image or a share-card image to your device.
You can control these permissions anytime in iOS Settings.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share data only when necessary to operate the service (for example, with infrastructure providers), or when required to comply with legal obligations.
When we use service providers, we expect them to protect data and handle it consistent with this policy.
Third-Party Services
Yve uses trusted third-party services to power core functionality such as authentication, databases, and hosting (for example, Firebase). These providers may process limited data on our behalf to deliver the service.
Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to provide the service and fulfill the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law.
Your Choices & Rights
- You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account information by contacting us.
- If you delete your account, we will take reasonable steps to remove associated personal information unless retention is required for legal or security purposes.
Security
We take reasonable measures designed to protect information from unauthorized access, alteration, or misuse. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Children’s Privacy
Yve is not intended for children under the age required by local law to consent to data processing. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above, and if changes are material, we may provide additional notice within the app.
